Regaining mobility and motion in the shoulder is often the first steps to recovery after surgery or an injury. Please remember that a stiff shoulder is a painful shoulder. The following videos provide detailed instructions on how to perform each exercise including how often. The goal is for your shoulder to have complete and pain free motion. If your shoulder does not have the same flexibility as the opposite side, you should continue stretching. It is not a good idea to work out with weights until you have full range of motion.
Please choose the exercises that I have recommended and perform these exercises as described in the video, 3-4 times per day, every day! Please ice your shoulder for 20 minutes after you perform these exercises!
