Ann Nakagawa, PT, DPT
Ann received her doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, after completing Bachelor’s in Biology at University of California, San Diego.
Ann started practicing the martial art of kendo, Japanese fencing, at the age of six and has continued since. She has competed in numerous National and World Championships. She became fascinated in Physical Therapy due to injuries sustained over the years and the inspirational Physical Therapists she met. She is now an instructor and able to share her knowledge in body mechanics and injury prevention specific to kendo.
Ann enjoys treating patients of all ages and diagnoses, but particularly excels in orthopedics and sports injuries. Her passion is to help people obtain their optimal health and wellness so that they can get back to the activities they love.

Ann grew up enjoying a variety of sports and continues to stay active by playing tennis, kendo, and swimming. On her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping, experiencing good food, and spending time with family and friends.
